Of course I had to paint a camera rock … I’m a photographer’s brat ! My dad is an award winning Australian photographer and has been for 50 odd years and still on the go?
?Where did I grow up ? In the darkroom of course sitting on the benches , while my folks did all the hand enlarging – old school no digital back then ! I learnt to count on the RGB enlargers twisting the dials to my Dad’s instructions … minus magenta … add cyan . I’d be the runner to go out and collect the test strips that ran through the printer to show him the colours until he nailed just the right colour for someone’s printed wall photo that he had taken the photos of …. I can still smell the darkroom 40 years later… the camera boy I grew up to be … loading the films in the cartridges to pop in the Hassleblad camera. Love the memories and really understand the dedication and hours invested to become a success ….
