I Love Lotus Flowers – popping in many times to Bali on R&R I’m the one checking from lotus to lotus … how many lotus photos can one have ?! I have quite a collection ?

The lotus is symbolic of purity of the body, speech, and mind as while rooted in the mud, its flowers blossom on long stalks as if floating above the muddy waters of attachment and desire.

It is also symbolic of detachment as drops of water easily slide off its petals.

I see you all my rock friends , a lot of stuff going on in your lives … swirling amongst the mud
We use our creativity and rocks to keep positive and bloom from the depths of the mud ??? And look at you all shine ?

Cmon jump on board let’s get some Lotus’s painted , share yours I’d love to see them on our Facebook Page – CLICK HERE ?

Using white acyrlic paint pen 0.7m to outline areas of  the image.

Draw the design on your rock.  Click on the image below to learn how to draw on Rocks. Here I am using a regular pencil.

Colour on your rock – I have just painted a nice even layer. You do not want to paint it to thick. The more layers on the rock the more chance it has of peeling off later on . Click on the image below to find out how best to paint on rocks!

Tip for blending petals

I colour in three colours on my petal and while the paint is still wet , I take a damp paintbrush and blend wet paint to wet paint, so I leave the paints to blend themselves.

Use the darker tint of pink in areas where the petals join, keep adding more until you feel the depth is there looking at it .
