? Flamingo time ! And you know what I have to say about flamingoes? Nothing ???‍♀️?

I have no clue what country they live in – very unlike me … usually I suss that sort of stuff out.

To me they seem exotic – my friend collects them and it’s where all my flamingo rocks go. Her obsession led to me seeing a video of people drinking cocktails on a beach and boom ? flamingoes walk past ?

What’s with that??? Does this need to go on my bucket list ? It’s a looongg list but I’m happy to add it if you recommend it.Face it – I’m Australian… we have Emus not exactly pretty pastel birds on a beach.

I do love emus for their evil qualities. Like the time we were sitting eating lunch and they came up and took my youngest two boys food off them . My boys were the cheekiest boys you ever came across so this was hilarious karma to my other kids and me – we all still laugh about it 18 years later and the boys plans to hunt the emus down and demand justice .

I’m thinking flamingoes on the beach seem much more relaxing right?
Bucket list or not? What say you ??

Using colour or white outline and the image, I used Posca 1mr pens

And if you want to add a touch of highlight –  pop on a few dots and dashes of white paint .

Colour on your rock – I have just painted a nice even layer. You do not want to paint it to thick. The more layers on the rock the more chance it has of peeling off later as the water in the base evaporates. Click on the image below to find out how best to paint on rocks!

Shading makes all the difference to the end result. Adds depth to the Image.
I use clean water and a size 2 or 4 filbert taklon paintbrush click on the below image to learn the technique – or head to YouTube to watch how I do the shading.
