I heard news last night from my friend in Nepal that their Elephant is pregnant! Ok now I’m not getting too excited just yet it will be about another year before the bubba is born ?

But I remember the fun we had when her baby boy elephant was born ! He would try sitting in our Laps when we were in the enclosure areas – lesson learnt don’t sit and chat with a baby elephant about? they are not small !
Then the day he got out when his mum was down the river bathing ??‍♀️ It ended up with my daughter trying to coax him back with bananas ? no easy job – he was sooo naughty !
Imagine a new naughty puppy and times the size by 300 ?
I miss our weekend getaways to the jungle in Nepal. In two weeks it will be one year since I’ve lived in my home in Nepal and seen my daughter there. When our world has healed and we are travelling again my passport is going to be so filled up once again with travel stamps ! I’m ready and by then the new baby elephant might be ready to be born as well ???
Don’t forget if you do not know the steps used in this tutorial check out the links below.

Colour on your rock – I have just painted a nice even layer. You do not want to paint it to thick. The more layers on the rock the more chance it has of peeling off later as the water in the base evaporates. Click on the image below to find out how best to paint on rocks!

Shading makes all the difference to the end result. Adds depth to the Image.
I use clean water and a size 2 or 4 filbert taklon paintbrush click on the below image to learn the technique – or head to YouTube to watch how I do the shading.
