Kindness Rock Challenge week 13 rock 6
I have to do this as one of my favourite areas in my studio is GLASS ! I am actually a lover of hot glass/kilns etc but a huge part of that process is cutting glass ….

And that’s what made me run past my usual morning time of sharing my rock ??? i was busy placing lines on the rock where I would cut the glass in my studio .

I planned how I was grinding my rounded pieces . Had to change a few cut lines on the blue – easy with paint , if it’s dry just cover over and redraw the line. On glass you have to hash this stuff out ??

Boy I complicate even the simplest thing like draw some lines …. but I love that part of my brain in full creative swing .
So don’t complicate things like I did in my head – just enjoy the creative process in yours ???.
Let me know if you need any instructions- I’m happy to help, tag me in comments over in our Facebook group – CLICK HERE ????

Use a black colour pen and outline  the image, I used Tooli-Art or Artistro 0.7m pens.I also use posca 1m or 1mr – all great outlining pens.

And if you want to add a touch of highlight –  pop on a few dots and dashes of white paint .
You can find awesome fine Pens to help you with this here

Draw the design on your rock.  Click on the image below to learn how to draw on Rocks

Colour on your rock – I have just painted a nice even layer. You do not want to paint it to thick. The more layers on the rock the more chance it has of peeling off later as the water in the base evaporates. Click on the image below to find out how best to paint on rocks!

Shading makes all the difference to the end result. Adds depth to the Image.
I use clean water and a size 2 or 4 filbert taklon paintbrush click on the below image to learn the technique – or head to YouTube to watch how I do the shading.

I would love to extend to you an invitation to an exciting new Rock Project I have put together.
