Last Night I was chatting to Hubby about the list of jobs we must get done in the garden ? I was messaging with a friend who is going to get some fruit trees happening and my list was getting long …. We want to create lots of lovely gardens restaurants for Bees ?
I told Hubby I was not sure if we would need 1 or 2 BEE ? HOTELS. He gave me the eyebrow look like only he can …. I know he was clueless and panic was setting in on what time consuming task I was volunteering him for. Not Knowing what a Bee Hotel was but knowing it would take time, he decided on one , I was leaning at this point towards 2-3 .
I listed off all my reasons for needing some Bee Hotels , the list was long . I did explain we would have to be the housekeepers of the hotel as well . And ended with …
Well what if a wee bee gets weary flying from one plant to the next he needs a place to rest right? We of course must be gracious hosts ??
PS – I think I’m getting some ?
PPS – in case you don’t know what a Bee Hotel is , A bee hotel provides shelter from extreme weather and serves as a safe place for bees to hatch their young. … Solitary bees, which make up 85 percent of the bee population, nest in the hollow stems of dead plants, holes in trees, cracks in walls and burrows in the ground, and make individual nests for their larvae.
PPS- of course it had to bee a rock ??
Bee Happy ? Bee Fabulous Beeing You ?

Draw the design on your rock.  Click on the image below to learn how to draw on Rocks

Colour on your rock – I have just painted a nice even layer. You do not want to paint it to thick. The more layers on the rock the more chance it has of peeling off later as the water in the base evaporates. Click on the image below to find out how best to paint on rocks!

Shading makes all the difference to the end result. Adds depth to the Image.
I use clean water and a size 2 or 4 filbert taklon paintbrush click on the below image to learn the technique – or head to YouTube to watch how I do the shading. On this one I also used dots to shade.
