What do you even do when your friend is deserted on a gorgeous Island? My Australian friend lives on the gorgeous Island called Bali in Indonesia. Her daughter and my daughter are besties and as Ex Patriate children they attend the same International distance education School.

We are blessed to be sitting out current times in Australia not Nepal but my friend is driving me insane with all the photos she is sending of sitting out her time on deserted Bali Beaches. I am dreaming of the day that I can join her! I am praying that happens soon and the gorgeous Balinese people can get back to normal with jobs and opening back up to tourists.
What kind of beaches do you enjoy ? I saw my first black sand, rock beach in Bali by the Volcano. Until then I had only seen golden sand beaches. It was the same beach I found my first beach glass. I love the whole waking up by the water while planning the day’s adventures- how about you ? ttps://youtu.be/IHU0Okb2mrE

Colour on your rock – I have just painted a nice even layer. You do not want to paint it to thick. The more layers on the rock the more chance it has of peeling off later as the water in the base evaporates. Click on the image below to find out how best to paint on rocks!

Shading makes all the difference to the end result. Adds depth to the Image.
I use clean water and a size 2 or 4 filbert taklon paintbrush click on the below image to learn the technique – or head to YouTube to watch how I do the shading.
